The term “wellness” is often used to describe a visit to the sauna in combination with a massage. But wellness is so much more!

To make it clear what we mean by wellness, we have developed a unique concept: “Mental wellness according to the OASE Health Model©”
Our Mental Wellness concept supports the pursuit of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. It refers to the health and well-being of body, mind and soul. The definitions of the three most prestigious universities show how inextricably linked wellness and mental wellness are:

The Harvard University defines wellness as “a conscious and active pursuit of optimal well-being” and emphasizes the importance of physical, mental and emotional health.

The University of California, Berkeley, emphasizes the holistic nature of wellness, explaining that it is a state of balance and integration of body, mind and spirit.

TheUniversity of Michigan defines wellness as “an active process of conscious decision making to live a healthy and fulfilling life”. It emphasizes the various dimensions of wellness, including physical, emotional, intellectual and social health.

Mental Wellness

Mental Wellness adds the mental level to traditional wellness. Health and wellness are not only about the body and emotions, but also about the mind. Mental health and the knowledge of a healthy lifestyle are combined with classic wellness treatments, as well as the development of one’s own personality and potential.

Mental Wellness at the MentalSpa Resort: experience and learn how easy life can be on vacation
Mental Wellness at the MentalSpa means

  • • with short-term treatments based on OASE Health Model©
  • • holistically and sustainably

How does it work?

Mental Wellness according to the OASE Health Model© includes the following areas:

The hotel with its wellness facilities and nature form the foundation. They are the place where people can retreat from everyday life and find time and peace.

The supporting measures, such as eating well, enjoying exercise and relaxation with body treatments such as massages, peelings and bathing rituals, ensure a high level of enjoyment. This is not about bans, diets and sports programs, but about mindfulness in dealing with oneself – without sacrifice.

Psychosocial counseling is used to deal with a wide range of life issues. Mental coaching, life coaching, management consulting and systemic coaching come together here to address any life, relationship, or work issue in an individual setting. From values work, communication, time management, family constellations to lifestyle changes and so much more, there is a place for every topic.

The efficiency of a relatively short stay of 1-3 weeks can be increased through biofeedback. This is based on measurements of stress levels, regenerative capacity and sleep quality. Based on the results, individual training programs are created, with which you can learn in the shortest possible time to find the most effective relaxation technique for stress, to increase the regenerative capacity of the heart and in the mental area and to improve the quality of sleep.

The aim of the OASE Health Model© is to increase your own resilience and minimize the perceived and real stress in everyday life through holistic, always individually applied measures.

measurable - verifiable - scientific

Measurable & verifiable

Biofeedback-Measurements make the effects of stress on the body visible. Vital signs (cardiovascular system, respiration, autonomic nervous system, muscle tension) are recorded using medical measurement methods, sleep measurements are taken and the adaptability of the heart (cardiac variability) is measured. These procedures form the basis of your personal training plan.

Biofeedback-Trainingthen shows you in real time, via transmission, what you can do to relax quickly and efficiently. After a few training sessions, you will be able to do this independently at home. This means that you are independent of aids and can use your personal technique at any time.

Scientific

The specialist book “Mental-Wellness” explores the prerequisites, methods and applications of the OASE Health Model©. In the theoretical part, the scientific findings are examined and substantiated in the empirical part through surveys and testimonials. It can be clearly stated that a vacation with a health arrangement can have a holistic effect on health and well-being and improve it in the long term.
