Treatment information

We look forward to pampering you at MentalSpa Fritsch am Berg with massages, body treatments, baths, cosmetic treatments, consultations, coaching, biofeedback and personal training.

Treatment times

If we do not receive any information from you, we will book your treatments in the following period:
* on the day of arrival between 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm
* between 9 am and 6 pm on the day of arrival
* between 9 am and 11:30 am on the day of departure
Please let us know at least 2 days prior to your arrival if you will not be able to take advantage of treatments on your arrival and departure days, or if you have any other time restrictions.
We will do our best to accommodate your request, but appreciate your understanding that this may not always be possible.

Our treatments are subject to high quality standards. Our highly trained staff require specific information at the beginning of each stay to ensure that we are permitted to carry out the treatments. Please read our treatment information carefully. The form you will be asked to sign is available as a PDF download at the bottom of this page, but you are also welcome to fill it out on-site.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide treatments in the case of the following symptoms and conditions:

Acute and contagious illnesses (e.g. fungal and skin infections, herpes), pain, injuries, inflammations
Contagious infections (e.g. cold, cough, runny nose, fever, inflammations)
In the treatment area: open wounds, warts, sunburn, skin conditions, herpes, eye infections

Treatments may be carried out with prior medical or therapeutic approval in the following cases:

acute pain, joint disorders & rheumatism, cardiovascular diseases, blood pressure issues, varicose veins, edema, thrombosis, blood clotting disorders, surgeries within the last 6 months, mental health conditions

Other exclusion criteria for MentalSpa treatments are:

Body treatments, massage: Herniated disc surgery (6 months) only after medical clearance
Sound thearpy: Tinnitus
Biofeedback: Pacemakers, for medical conditions only after medical or therapeutic approval
Counseling services: For mental illness only after medical or therapeutic approval
Eye Wellness: Eye conditions only after medical or therapeutic approval
BIA – Bioimpedance Analysis: Electronic implants systems: e.g. pacemakers, active prostheses
Radiofrequency Ultrasound: Brain tumors, cancer, psoriasis, dermatitis, epilepsy, thyroid problems, heart disease, facial paralysis, post surgery, implants, injections, fresh wounds, photosensitivity, facial piercings, metal allergies, scars (6 months), severe acne, herpes skin inflammations.
Pregnancy: Dizziness, nausea, high-risk pregnancy, cardiovascular problems, low birth weight or illness of the unborn child. No massages in the lumbar region, sacrum and on the feet

Use of the wellness facility

For the protection of our guests, we kindly ask for your understanding that you are not allowed to enter the entire wellness area with the following illnesses:

Infectious diseases (e.g. fungal diseases, skin infections, inflammations, etc.)
Contagious infections (e.g. colds, coughs, runny nose, fever, infections, etc.)

For indoor sports we expect you to wear sports clothes and indoor sports shoes.

Notice

Our employees and the business owner are exempt from any liability in the event of consequential damage resulting from the fact that reasons for exclusion or dangers were concealed or expressly accepted by the guest despite professional use. The same applies to damages caused by the fact that a reason for exclusion or a risk was not known to the guest and was therefore not recognizable by our employees or the business owner. Your data will be stored by us as long as legal claims can be made against us. After that, we will properly delete your information. We do not share guest information with third parties!
